Огромен скандал се разгори в БФС. Президентът на Българската професионална футболна лига (БПФЛ), Атанас Караиванов поиска оставката на националния селекционер Илиан Илиев.
Караиванов, който е и член на Изпълкома на Българския футболен съюз (БФС), обвини Илиев в злоупотреба със служебно положение. Освен това го обвинява в намеса в съдийството и конфликт на интереси. Причината е, че той едновременно е старши треньор на ПФК Черно море и национален селекционер.
